Rickerbys announce LLP status - April 08
Leading south-west law firm Rickerbys has announced its conversion to limited liability status (LLP) from 1 April 08 following long term planning to support unprecedented growth experienced by the firm.
The move to LLP status is part of a strategic plan developed by the partners and spearheaded by Managing Partner, Anne Compton.
“LLP’s are now viewed as the way for forward-thinking law firms to operate. Our conversion to LLP is a progressive move that will ensure we continue to expand as an innovative client-focused law firm,” comments Compton.
“By becoming an LLP, we are continuing to keep pace with a fast-moving legal and regulatory environment. We have extensive experience in advising clients on their own conversion to LLP status and have been delighted to use this expertise in connection with our own incorporation.”
The move has been positively embraced by clients who regard Rickerbys as a modern law firm that retains traditional values, according to Compton, and has been confirmed through independent client satisfaction surveys.
“We are a client-led firm and the LLP status highlights our commitment to growth and development. We ensure that our clients consistently receive an exceptional legal service from a dedicated and happy team of lawyers, many of whom are leaders in their respective fields.” |
