Pied Piper's New Following - June 08
South-west law firm Rickerbys LLP have announced their nominated charity for 2008, the Gloucestershire based Pied Piper Appeal. The charity’s aim is to provide improved care and facilities for sick children, allowing them to feel more comfortable and help them to make a swift recovery and continue to enjoy some of their happiest years.
Rickerbys’ charity and social committee have worked relentlessly for over a decade to help raise money for local charities, and with a great deal of success. Last year alone, they raised £4,500, through various fund-raising activities as well as helping to raise the profile of their chosen charity amongst local businesses.

On 8 June, Rickerbys will take part in the 23 mile annual Piped Piper Sponsored Walkathon as the first of many fund raising events. Others include the high profile Pied Piper 007 Ball, sponsored by Rickerbys LLP, on 14 June at the Cheltenham Town Hall and the Rickerbys’ organised ‘Sausage Sizzle’ and ‘Auction of Promises’ that will be held later this summer.
