New hire for Commercial Property Team - June 07
Due to unprecedented growth, the leading South West law firm Rickerbys has announced the appointment of a new Associate Solicitor Brian Jones. Brian will be joining the Commercial Property Team signalling an escalation of activity within this department.
Brian, who specialises in commercial conveyancing and who works as a Notary Public, will be joining the 13-strong team having qualified as a solicitor in 1968 with a law degree from Sheffield University. Brian became a Partner at Chattertons in Lincolnshire in 1971 before moving to Cheltenham in 1987 where he became a Partner at Davis Gregory and more recently a Director and shareholder of Davis Gregory Ltd before his move to Rickerbys.
The appointment strengthens Rickerbys' reputation as the region’s most unrivalled law firm. A fact confirmed by Chambers and Partners this year: ‘As an old and well-established Cheltenham firm, Rickerbys has a long list of client relationships stretching back many years. Clients suggested that the firm’s capacity as a “one-stop shop” meant that it was perfect for someone requiring the firm to take care of all matters from employment law and the setting of companies through to property transactions.'
Mark Fabian, Partner at Rickerbys, welcomes Brian’s appointment; “He will be an asset to the firm as he is experienced within the commercial property field and specialises in sales and purchases of business properties, commercial leases with advice to both landlords and tenants and general commercial work particularly associated with acquisitions and disposals of businesses."
