The Companies Act 2006 has updated and modernised the law governing the running of companies. There is a range of new features that affect every company operating in the United Kingdom; removing outdated requirements and introducing a number of options on how to run your business efficiently.
Why attend? The aim of this seminar is to provide a round up from our previous seminars of the key measures that have already been implemented and a discussion of the final changes that will come about in October this year.

Speakers Jonathan Morley, Corporate Partner, Rickerbys LLP Jonathan joined Rickerbys from City firm, Linklaters, where he spent 5 years in the corporate finance team. Specialising in corporate transactional work, Jonathan’s client portfolio extends from ownermanaged businesses to public limited companies.
Nick Wagstaffe, Senior Corporate counsel, Rickerbys LLP Nick joined Rickerbys 2008, having been a partner in the business law group of Anglo American law firm Dechert. Nick’s work divides broadly into advisory work for UK and overseas clients in their corporate acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures. Clients have included public and private UK and US businesses, investment and commercial banks, private equity firms and management teams.
David Main LLP Partner, Hazlewoods LLP David is the partner responsible for advising many of the firm’s AIM listed company clients and those with a full listing on the London Stock Exchange.
