FAQs

Do you have any vacancies for 2010 and 2011?
Unfortunately not, our intake for both 2010 and 2011 is complete.

How many training contracts do you offer?
Four each year.

Do you pay LPC?
We contribute £7000 towards the fees for the LPC.

Should I apply if my degree is lower than a 2:1?
Only if you have strong mitigating circumstances; otherwise, we are looking for a minimum 2:1 degree.

Do you take on non-law students?
We welcome applications from non-law students. If candidates can show a high level of achievement in any subject, combined with a commitment to the law and the right personality we will view their application with an open mind.

Do you take on mature applicants?
Yes. Mature candidates can bring a wealth of experience and knowledge which is invaluable. In the past we have recruited trainees who have had prior work experience.

Do you keep in contact with trainees before they join the firm?
Yes. We have a young professionals group (Pulse) which our trainees are encouraged to join. Pulse is an informal networking group which draws together professionals from different businesses within the Cheltenham area.

Do trainees socialise outside work?
Yes! We have a very active 'Charity and Social Committee' who organise events which take place every four to six weeks, from impromptu post-work trips to one of Cheltenham’s wide selection of cafes, pubs and wine bars to mufti days and raffles. We also have our own football and netball team and you are encouraged to join or support.
