Fredericks Foundation - Trading Places
As you may have seen in the papers, a team from Rickerbys will be living on job-seekers allowance from today until Friday next week. The aim of this is to highlight the work of the Fredericks Foundation which offers loans to business people, either start ups or existing, who have been turned down by banks for what would seem to be inability to provide the relevant security or for lack of credit rating. The Fredericks Foundation has already saved and created a number of jobs in the area and we are very happy to support this. All participants will be keeping a diary and excerpts from these will be published after completion of the project. The Echo and Citizen are supporting this and will be featuring in the next couple of weeks. Please let us know if you see any of the team tucking in to posh sandwiches or chocolate.
