Choosing the right law firm to join as a trainee is both exciting and daunting. After years of study you'll want to choose a firm that is professionally challenging, yet has a culture that allows you to be yourself and to make new friends.

Recruiting new trainees is an important decision for us too. We have exacting standards because we don't view our trainees as temporary fixtures. Several of our current partners trained with the firm.

Successful candidates may come from various backgrounds and be law or non-law graduates. All must be team players that have a “can do” attitude, strong communication and problem-solving skills, be self-motivated and have a sense of humour.

Unlike larger city firms we can guarantee that you will not be “just another trainee” in a pool of 25 or more. Instead you will be treated as an individual and we will look to develop you, building upon your existing strengths.
