Rickerbys receives 12 recommendations in the UK Legal 500 - September 08
Leading south-west law firm Rickerbys LLP maintains its position as the pre-eminent Gloucestershire law firm, receiving recommendations in 12 categories including corporate finance, employment, commercial property, private client, family and education.
Rated as one of the ‘top-firms’ in the South West by The Legal 500 UK Edition, Rickerbys has maintained its strong position within the directory across the entire practice.
Outstanding endorsements given by Rickerbys’ clients have resulted in a number of teams moving up the rankings and a record number of partners held up as leaders in their field.
Researchers note that Rickerbys’ Debt Recovery team, lead by Partner and Insolvency Practitioner Colin Gibson, ‘achieves an ‘exceptional’ rate of recovery’.
Maintaining top-tier position, Employment Partners Alice Reeve and Matthew Clayton were praised for their ‘wide knowledge and strict attention to detail’, whilst the Private Client team was praised for its ‘excellent, accurate, timely advice’.
Due to substantial property-related litigation and advice on tax planning and probate matters, clients consider Rickerbys’ Agriculture and Estates team to have ‘clear understanding and vast knowledge’.
The announcement of The UK Legal 500 comes fast on the heels of the release of The Lawyer UK200 Annual Report 2008, which saw Rickerbys moving up the ranks of leading law firms in the UK to position 168.
