Rickerbys boosts its numbers - April 08
Leading south-west law firm Rickerbys LLP continues to grow from strength-to-strength with three new additions.
Following the recent announcement regarding its growth in turnover during its 07/08 financial year, Cheltenham-based law firm Rickerbys LLP has further expanded its operations with the appointment of three new solicitors.
The three new starters, Christina Maclean, Marianne Mainwaring, and Ian Dawes, will add to existing teams, supporting the practice’s rapid growth and influx of new client cases.
Christina Maclean
Maclean joins Rickerbys' Commercial team focusing on non-contentious IP and IT/Ecommerce matters. Prior to beginning her legal career Christina was a journalist. She worked for local and national newspapers before moving into regional television as a reporter and producer for Central News in Birmingham. Headhunted by the BBC for the launch of News 24 she has worked as a BBC news editor, programme maker, reporter and sports presenter for the BBC’s domestic services and World Service Television.
Marianne Mainwaring
Mainwaring adds to the firm’s Commercial Property team. She will undertake a broad spectrum of work, specialising in secured lending and landlord and tenant work.
Ian Dawes
Dawes joins Rickerbys’ Litigation team from Cheltenham law firm BPE. With an in-depth knowledge of Intellectual Property law, Dawes will be developing the firm’s contentious Intellectual Property work. He has additional experience dealing with IT and e-commerce disputes.
Managing Partner Anne Compton welcomes the new additions: “These new Solicitors add both strength and depth to our existing teams as we continue to develop our strategy of providing a specialised legal service to our rapidly growing client base.”
