Professional and academic training is encouraged to cover essential work-related skills, techniques and knowledge. Rickerbys takes a positive and progressive approach 'training'.

The most effective way to develop people, however, is to enable learning through personal development. Rickerbys supports this through various formal (appraisals and ‘mentors’) and informal (social and charity events and ‘buddies’) channels.

Whatever your learning requirements are, there will be someone to discuss them with you. This may be your manager, a member of the HR team, the librarian or one of the many external providers that we use.
