WellChild and Rickerbys LLP - May 08

Over the past year, Rickerbys LLP and national children’s charity WellChild have teamed up to raise an impressive  £4,500 to be used by WellChild in supporting sick children and their families across the UK.

Kedge Martin, CEO of WellChild said “Rickerbys were a great local partner, it was terrific to see such innovative fundraising ideas raising much needed funds for our care, support and research.”

Rickerbys LLP have made it their mission to make fundraising innovative and fun and to come up with exciting new ways of raising money to maintain enthusiasm within the firm.  One of the highlights of their fundraising year has been the holistic-themed “Love Yourself Month” this February, with the focus being on health and wellbeing. 

Various treatments, such as facials, massage and nutrition sessions, were offered to staff with all proceeds going towards WellChild.  In addition, the Rickerbys Team have held lunches in their Boardrooms and themed mufti days as well as pulling together to put on a fantastic Auction of Promises.

The Rickerbys Team were assisted by WellChild’s Corporate Account Executive, Dorian Ursell, who was quoted as saying:

“For over 30 years, WellChild has helped save the lives of thousands of sick children.  As Rickerbys’ Charity of the Year 2007 – 2008, we have continued to make a real difference to many more.  On behalf of all the team, the children and their families, we would like to express our warmest thanks to Rickerbys.”
